About Dan

I am a postdoctoral researcher investigating the evolutionary basis of predator-prey interactions in marine organisms. Because I am interested in hunting strategies of different species, and in evolution, I was automatically attracted to the paleo/primal diet which is based on these principles.

In addition, I am trying to lose weight and recover from years of damage caused by modern neolithic foods. This blog tracks my progress during my personal journey, as well as the occasional dabbling into the science behind evolutionary eating, and of course paleo recipes.
