1. Avoid High Fat Food before a Workout!

Various recent studies suggest that you should never try a workout within 4 hours after eating a high fat meal. For instance, if you decided to eat a McDonald’s earlier in the day before your workout, you should make sure to leave at least 4 hours between your workout and the meal, as this could potentially hinder your ability to perform at your best. It is essential that when you are working out, that you are making the most of the time that you dedicate to it. Otherwise, you are essentially wasting your time, as you are not going to be able to work out at your best potential.

Another point to consider, is that if you do try to work out whilst your stomach is trying to decompose a meal with a high fat content, you are going to cause yourself digestive problems. This is because your system will be struggling to provide enough blood for the stomach to work effectively, and for the rest of your body to be stretched to its limits.

2. Consume Caffeine before Your Workout

It has been suggested by some scientists and experts in the field of fitness, that one of the best aids to your workout is caffeine. Despite the many adverse effects of caffeine including an eventual “crash” in your energy levels, it has been recommended that you should take a good portion of caffeine around 1-2 hours before your workout.

The studies taken suggest that by doing this, your body is able to exercise for longer periods of time before facing exhaustion, and that your body is actually able to burn fat quicker during the period that you are exercising. This is hugely important to your workout, as you will want to acquire the best results from your work.

3. Train with Multiple People at the Same Time

There is some evidence to suggest that you are naturally more able to lift more weights, or to do more reps when in front of numerous people than in front of just one. So, to improve your workout and to obtain the best results possible, it may be a good idea to bring along 3-5 of your friends when working out, so that your body will use its resources to their maximum capacity.
