3 Workout Programs that Will Kick Your Butt

You’ve hit that point in the day where you realize that all you’ve eaten today is junk food. You notice your energy levels are at an all-time low and the new pants you bought aren’t fitting the way you remember they did in the dressing room. So, a new workout plan is your remedy. But with so many out there, it’s hard to choose which is best.

Below is a list of the best workout programs that will literally kick your butt and what they require.

1. P90x

This program was developed by Tony Horton and launched in 2003. It claims to significantly improve your health in 90 days through a rigorous program taught through DVD’s. There is also a nutrition plan to go along with it. The program emphasizes “muscle confusion” through switching the order of exercises. This prevents the body from adapting to exercises over time, causing the body to plateau. The program is intense, but you will be sure to see results.

2. Insanity Workout

This workout is a 60-day full body conditioning program. It consists mainly of cardio and plyometric drills and no equipment or weights are needed. The full workout consists of 10 DVD’s and is taught by Shaun T, who is sure to push your limits. The program also comes with a nutrition guide.

3. TurboFire

This workout is intense cardio conditioning that helps you burn up to 9x more fat and calories than traditional cardio. This is a 90-day program taught through DVD’s by Chalene Johnson. This workout includes fun music and low-impact fitness routines. If you enjoy moving, cardio and burning fat like it’s your job, this workout will be great for you.

These are great workouts you can do at home. Some other alternatives that people do include using free weights for toning, yoga and using boxing equipment to help make your body stiff and strong. If you do not want to pay for a gym membership, these are great alternatives. Don’t be afraid to move a table out-of-the-way and create a space that allows you to workout for 30 minutes or more a day.

Any of these workouts will be sure to help you achieve a better body that you are proud of. It will have you feeling healthy, happy and more energetic than before.     Tyler- great article. You should do a more comprehensive review and include some non Beachbody workouts such as TapouT XT, Jillian Michaels Body Revolution or GPS Rush fit
