5 Products that Make Being a Health Nut Easier
Eating well can be difficult. It requires planning. It requires preparation. It requires the energy and desire for reflection and self-care. It requires a wide variety of quality food that’s organic. It requires more than protein bars and Lean Cuisines. It’s true, eating well does call for thoughtful actions and a few more bucks, but it’s worth it—well worth it. Sure, we all know that eating well will help us live longer but who wants to consider mortality when choosing a 3 p.m. snack?
Not only does eating well allow the dream of a 102nd birthday party, but it supports an energized day-to-day lifestyle that enhances the ability to make fulfilling choices now (and look fit while making them). While we’re celebrating the many reasons to go 100% health-nut, let’s celebrate the products that help us do it.

1.    Stand-up Pouches
Once upon a time most packaged goods came in a big bag that flopped around and required the precise use of a chip-clip to remain fresh. Food went bad more quickly. Spills occurred. But suddenly, the aisles were filled with bags that stood upright and could be sealed after opening. Food is much more affordable if it stays fresh longer.
2.    Organic Produce Delivery
The closest store (by far) to my house is a Chevron mini-mart. In moments of great weakness I’ve grocery shopped there. I recently found a local company that will affordably delivery organic produce to my welcome mat while I knock back the zzz’s. It’s the most convenient way to get quality produce and I’ll never be forced to get bananas where I buy my gasoline again.
3.    Supplements
Despite our devoted efforts to eat right and stay healthy, it can be difficult to get every vitamin and antioxidant our bodies need. That’s why supplements are dietary magic.
4.    Easy (and Yummy) Recipes
Sometimes the best thing to jump-start a healthy diet is a makeover of your favorite recipe. These yummy sloppy joes are a healthy alternative that’s easy to make.
5.    Slow Cookers
Speed up dinner prep time by throwing healthy ingredients into a slow cooker. There’s nothing like be greeted by a cauldron of deliciousness after a long day.
