5 Simple Steps to Creating a Family Health Plan

2. Preventative Health Services

Understand what preventative services are available to you. Regardless of what you think of Obamacare, one of the benefits of the law is that you can now receive preventative health services without a co-pay. Call your insurance company and talk to your physician about what preventative services you and your family qualify for. This will include mammograms, colonoscopies, many vaccinations, DNA testing for HPV, physical exams and many developmental tests for children such as autism screening. Write them down in your health plan.
