5 Tasty Protein Shake Recipes
Protein powders are available in many different flavours from banana to cookies and cream. Yet no matter what flavour protein powder is used the taste can get boring pretty quickly. Protein powders are usually only mixed with either water or milk and drank in seconds, which can just get repetitive and boring. Here a 5 tasty recipes to make sure that drinking your protein shake will never getting boring or repetitive.
Berry Blast
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp raspberry yogurt
- 2 scoops of protein powder (strawberry works best)
- 5 strawberries
- Handful of blueberries
- 450 ml low-fat milk
- ½ cup of ice cubes
Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy!
Rise & Shine
Ingredients
- 2 scoops chocolate protein
- 5 ice cubes
- 250 ml of water
- 250 ml of milk
- 1 tsp instant coffee
This is a perfect shake to wake you up and get you off to a good start to each day.
Banana Split
Ingredients
- 2 Bananas (chopped)
- 500 ml of milk
- ½ cup of ice cubes
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 scoops of ice cream (this is optional)
Mix well In a blender and enjoy at any time of the day.
Pineapple Party
Ingredients
- 250 ml of pineapple juice
- 4 strawberries
- 1 banana (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop of protein (any flavour)
Blitz in a blender, play around with the ingredients until you get the consistency you want.
The Amazing Almond
Ingredients
- 15 raw Almonds
- ½ tbsp coconut extract
- 2 scoops of protein (any flavour)
- 5 ice cubes
- 400 ml water
