1: Take Photos

Scales can be misleading – remember that what you are really trying to achieve is a better looking physique. The best possible way to track your progress is to see the subtle changes in how you look. Try taking a photo of yourself before you start and then take another every 3 weeks. This should be long enough to see a difference and will re-motivate you for the next 3 weeks.

2: Envision Success

If you don’t believe you can do it you won’t. Make a habit of envisioning yourself looking how you want to look, convince yourself that you can make it a reality and you will find it much easier to make the effort.

3: Stay Full

Starving yourself isn’t fun, it will make you miserable and if your diet makes you unhappy there is really no point in doing it. Control your food intake, but never let yourself get hungry. If you do get hungry by mistake, your brain will go into calorie craving mode – in this instance try to eat something small, maybe just some veg or a banana, this will stem your cravings and help you regain your will power, allowing you to then make a better decision about what to eat.

4: Get Fit

A great upside to a healthy diet is that you also get fitter and healthier as a result. Rather than focusing on your weight, which is hard to track over the short-term, try to focus on fitness goals. If you can see a steady increase in your fitness levels you can be sure a better body will follow.

    I used to think that buying bigger was better, Meal planning is key, so look for the items you’d need to create healthy meals, Plan your meals based on what’s on sale and see if you can find samples from “Get Official Samples” that is even better
