When you are in college, or working, it can be very hard to find time to go to the gym. There are so many other things that you need to worry about. Even finding just an hour to go to the gym might be difficult for you. But if you know that you want to lose some weight, you need to do everything that you can to add to your workout regiment. There are tons of different ways to burn lots of calories. Wait. You just burned a couple!
But, you know that just a couple of calories burned isn’t going to make a huge difference. If you are looking to burn some more calories per day, without adding time to your workout routine, here are some great tips to burn calories especially for those living in obesogenic environments!
Tips to Burn Calories Fast
1. Add Weight to Your Workout
To burn as many calories as you can, why don’t you add a little extra weight to your workout regiment? You can add-on hand or ankle weights for your cardio, and add just a little more to your dumbbells for your weight training. This small action will help you burn calories a lot faster.
2. Add Intensity
If you are one that uses the treadmill or elliptical, increase the speed just a tiny bit. Continue to do this every time you go to the gym. In no time, you will find that you are going a lot faster and harder than you used to!
3. Park Far Away
Everyone knows the frustration when it comes to finding a parking space. Instead of getting frustrated about it, just go park far away from all of the parking spots. If you think about it, it will take the same amount of time to wait for a parking spot rather than just park and walk to the place you are going.
4. Take the Stairs
Make sure that you take the stairs instead of the elevator or the escalator when you go shopping. You will be able to burn your calories, and your tush and legs will appreciate it too!
5. Pick Up the Pace
I am a slow person by nature. I don’t like to hurry, and I like to take my time. However, if you hurry and pick up your pace, you will be able to burn more calories if you pick up the pace.
It’s easy to burn calories, it’s all about the little things!
