Finding Help for Anxiety on the Internet
Anyone who has ever experienced a panic attack knows just how terrifying they are. More and more people now live with debilitating anxiety than ever before. And while many people are able to control their symptoms with medication, this is not the answer for everyone.
Fortunately, online help and support is available to everyone.
Online support and a sense of community can be found on anxiety forums. There are a number of really great anxiety help forums where people can share about their day-to-day experiences, what works for them, share success stories, and offer hope to others. With online forums, you choose a unique user name, so your anonymity is protected at all times.
There was no such thing as online forums for people like me who grew up in the 1970’s. Forums were one of the first ways I ever reached out and found others who also had panic disorder. Communicating with real people who know exactly how I feel because they’ve been there too, is really comforting.
You may have to search around to find a forum that you really like, but it’s worth the time it takes. One of the hallmarks of living with anxiety is you often feel embarrassed about it, so forums are a wonderful and safe way to reach out to others and get some real life help and support.
There are also a number of anxiety help programs that are readily available online. Some are downloadable e-books, some offer video coaching, and others offer a combination of both.
I’d seen a lot of these programs for years before I ever actually purchased one. Although I’d literally spend thousands of dollars on therapy, hypnotists, and biofeedback in the past, I never purchased an online program to help me with my anxiety.
During a particularly stressful time in my life, I decided to try the Panic Puzzle, a step by step system for conquering panic attacks and anxiety. I had a lot of success with the program and I’m really glad I bought it.
So how do you choose the right program for you? Ask on forums whether anyone has used the program you’re interested in. You can also search online for reviews to read. Read the sales letter thoroughly, and be sure you can get your money back if you’re not satisfied. For your program to work, you have to follow it as outlined, and work it fully.
There is no magic bullet when it comes to overcoming anxiety. But online forums and anxiety elimination programs can certainly help. By taking an active role in trying to understand and overcome the anxiety and panic you face, you are well on your way to a more peaceful life.

There is no magic formula. Everyone should seek out what will help him.
I believe in self-help, Self-healing.
But how to do it, is individual.
Jill, thanks for sharing your tips and advice for people who cope with anxiety symptoms!
I think it’s really good to have an online support community to help with anxiety. It’s getting like minded individuals with the same condition that can help each other understand the condition and get better. Hmm, interesting never heard of the Panic Puzzle before.
