How to Lose that Bloated Stomach?
Here Are Some of the Common Reasons Why We Experience Bloated Stomachs:
1. Overeating – This is done by so many people and it’s easy to understand why, most people like to eat! To reduce stomach bloating you can try having smaller regular meals instead of having 2 or 3 large ones. Make sure you also drink plenty of water.
2. Allergies – It is possible that food allergies could be the cause of your bloated stomach. Some of the common foods are milk, yeast and wheat. Try taking out some of those foods from your diet for 2 weeks and see if you notice any improvement.
3. Constipation – Constipation can be another reason why people get bloated. Make sure you eat plenty of fibre and drink enough water.
4. Gaseous foods – There are foods which will naturally give us gas and this can often lead to stomach bloating. Foods that can cause gas are beans, lentils, wheat, starchy foods, onions, chickpeas and Brussel sprouts.
What Are Some Natural Methods to Reduce Stomach Bloating?
1. Exercise – Regular exercise will help loosen your bowels, improve gastrointestinal health and also improve your fitness. Even if you just walk a bit more, it can make a difference.
2. Peppermint tea – Peppermint oil has shown to be effective at reducing stomach bloating and also reduce gas pain, so try out some peppermint tea.
3. Probiotic yoghurt – Active culture yogurt contain bacteria which can help your digestive system break down certain sugars. If these sugars aren’t broken down, they can cause stomach pain and gas as they ferment in the intestines.

Glad to see that you included probiotics in there as a healthy digestive system goes a long way in reducing that bloated look.
Just remember that sometimes when you start taking more probiotics than normal it can increase bloating for a short time! Not what people want to hear at all!
Just start gradually and give your body time to adjust to these extra good bacteria and soon that slim tummy will be yours!
Thanks for the great tips!
I have been exercising a lot lately in order to lose some weight but I have not tried the other two items in the list. I will definitely try them and see what happens. Thanks again for sharing!
Great,
My stomach is even bigger though… the only reason I can come up with for this would be that I changed my diet very all of the sudden- one day I was snacking & eating salty & sugary foods, then the next changed my diet to fish, fruit, & lots of veggies. Do you think that might be it? I can’t think of any other reason for my stomach to be protruding even more even though I’m eating better & have dropped a dress size
Nice post, easy to read and understand. I don’t tend to get bloated and exercise regularly plus eat probiotics. If I do find myself bloated again I will try the peppermint tea.
Yes I agree that regular physical exercise is the best answer to bloated stomach. Exercise will not only reduce your bloated stomach but keep you fit and healthy as well. So keep doing much needed exercise.
