San Francisco Mayor Vetos Ban on Happy Meals

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has decided to veto the city’s ban on McDonald’s Happy Meals.

Unfortunately for him, since the San Fran Board of Supervisors approved the ban by a veto-proof vote of 8-3, they hold the power to override the Mayor’s veto.

Next up, McDonald’s sues the city of San Francisco.

Yo Doug. Thanks for the update. I love my home city, but dislike Gavin Newsome. San Francisco is always on the forefront of this sort of stuff. Good thing the board of supervisors can override. Question is, will they do it?
