    I start from what many people neglect sometimes. If you go to any hospital ward you’ll see some patients walking around. If you stopped to interview these patients they’d tell you that they usually felt better after that little physical exercise! That shows the benefit of exercise to the recovering patient!

    From such a minor exercise and its benefits described above, one cannot agree more with the authors of this article that physical exercise is very important for the well-being of any individual. When any physical exercise happens, no matter how small, the heart beat increases thereby pumping blood faster to all tissues and organs of the body. In this process, essential nutrients get to all parts of the body from the circulating blood; and in return all waste products of metabolism enter the blood and are returned fast to their places of removal, the kidneys, the skin, the breath. And the movement of the gut is whipped up, thus leading to better and faster removal of undigested food materials. All these processes thus keep the body in top form.

    Take a motorcar engine for example; if you don’t regularly drain the dirty oil you will soon discover that the engine will not work properly. Similarly, if the blood doesn’t circulate quickly and regularly to all parts of the body accumulation of toxins and other waste materials will compromise the good working of the body.
