Tips for an Amazing Smile

What makes a smile amazing?

  • An amazing smile can be a confident smile, a happy smile, a glowing smile, a confident smile, a sincere smile or simply a healthy smile.
  • An amazing smile ultimately contributes positively to a person’s overall appearance.
  • It can be a reflection of that individual’s socioeconomic status, personal hygiene and confidence.
  • A man or woman with a bright, healthy, confident smile is going to be naturally alluring.
  • Unfortunately, a man or woman who lacks confidence in his or her smile is going to feel less willing to share that smile.

Although a smile does not have to be perfect to be amazing, it does need to be healthy. Modern dentistry can help you achieve the healthy smile of your dreams so that you can feel more confident about sharing it in virtually any situation.[box type=”note”]Although a smile does not have to be perfect to be amazing, it does need to be healthy. An amazing smile begins with good dental hygiene. Keeping your teeth clean is one of the easiest ways to create a beautiful smile, but it is also one of the most commonly neglected. Brushing your teeth once a day is not enough. You need to brush your teeth after meals, waiting at least 30 minutes to one hour. Use circular motions in order to gently but efficiently remove food particles and bacteria from the teeth and along the gumline, and brush for at least two minutes at a time. Use dental floss to remove plaque and particles from between teeth, and finish your dental cleaning with an antimicrobial or fluoride mouth rinse.

Clean teeth can be an enormous step towards a beautiful smile, but they may not be enough to make you happy with your smile. Chipped teeth, misalignments, stains and more can leave you feeling dissatisfied with your overall appearance. Each of these concerns can be addressed through timely, appropriate dental care. You may be a candidate for orthodontia, teeth whitening, bonding, dental veneers or other treatments designed to correct dental concerns or enhance the appearance of your smile. If you have untreated dental decay or gum disease, treating these conditions will provide an immediate uplift to your smile as well.

Finally, no matter how clean and aesthetically attractive your smile is, regular dental visits will play a fundamental role in keeping it looking fresh and amazing.

Your dentist or hygienist will perform a professional cleaning procedure, which is designed to remove all traces of plaque and tartar buildup even from those hard-to-reach areas of your mouth. Your dentist will then check your mouth for signs of dental diseases, such as decay or gum disease, and will check your dental restorations to ensure they fit securely and are intact. Regular dental checkups can help you keep your teeth healthy and strong, and they can catch dental diseases at their earliest, most treatable stages. Skipping biannual checkups can put your smile at risk.

Good article except for the bit about Fluoride. That stuff is too caustic and is a toxic waste. Never should fluoride be ingested, especially putting it in your mouth where it would come in contact with sensitive mucous membranes.
