    I have plantar fasciitis myself for a few months now. My podiatrist prescribed me with Custom made orthotics which did not work at all. I understood that treatment efficiency is very individual. If something works for one it may not work for the other.
    There are many kinds of inserts that you can try. In my opinion inserts and orthotics are individual like the rest of the plantar fasciitis treatments. The good inserts for me will not be good for you because I have flat foot and you have high arches for example.

      There are many different types of prescription orthotics that will be made and adjusted to the curves and shape of your foot. If this pair is not helping you can ask podiatrist to make adjustments to it, or try a different type of prescription orthotic device.
