Though daily physical activities such as mowing the lawn or cleaning around the house are good for heart health, you must get into the habit of scheduling proper workout sessions. Your workouts don’t have to take hours. A 15-minute intense workout can be more effective than an hour of moderate session on the treadmill. Though I am glad to see an increased awareness of adrenal fatigue, this article is over simplistic and does not introduce or discuss any of the biochemical or physiologic causes or consequences of adrenal fatigue, or give due emphasis on the devastation that it can cause. Furthermore, certain types of exercise can and will exacerbate the condition. Exercise is also a stressor that will demand a release of cortisol, which the glands cannot adequately meet, thus furthering the condition.
